- New Mexico: Controlled medications are not prescribed through our New Mexico telehealth service. This includes stimulant medications used to treat ADHD. When clinically appropriate, non-controlled and non-stimulant treatment options may be considered.
Texas: The Healed Mind Psychiatry does not initiate controlled medications during a virtual initial evaluation. Patients receiving controlled medications through our Texas practice are required to participate in periodic in-person visits as part of ongoing treatment and monitoring. The frequency of in-person visits is determined by the patient’s medication, clinical needs, treatment response, adherence, safety considerations, and monitoring requirements. Additional in-person evaluation may be required whenever clinically indicated.
