Objective ADHD Testing

We offer QbCheck testing in our clinic and accept approved objective testing completed within the past five years, including Creyos, TOVA, Conners CPT, IVA-2, CNS Vital Signs, and comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations.

QbCheck (QbTest v1.0): Objective ADHD Assessment:

QbCheck (QbTest v1.0) is an FDA-cleared, objective behavioral measure, and computerized assessment used to provide objective data in the evaluation of Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). It combines a Continuous Performance Task (CPT) with activity measurement to assess the three core symptom domains of ADHD: inattention, impulsivity, and hyperactivity.

QbCheck is validated for use in children, adolescents, and adults (typically ages 6 and older) and generates age- and gender-normed data. Peer-reviewed research demonstrates that objective CPT-based tools like QbTest improve diagnostic confidence and help differentiate ADHD from conditions such as anxiety, mood disorders, and sleep-related impairment when used as part of a comprehensive clinical evaluation.

While no objective test independently diagnoses ADHD, studies show that incorporating standardized attention testing increases diagnostic accuracy and reduces reliance on subjective reporting alone.

Why We Utilize QbCheck

We use QbCheck to:

  • Support diagnostic clarification

  • Establish a measurable baseline

  • Improve diagnostic confidence

  • Assist in differentiating ADHD from overlapping conditions

  • Monitor treatment response over time

Results are interpreted within the full clinical context of psychiatric history, symptom presentation, and functional impairment.

Benefits of QbCheck

  • FDA-cleared assessment

  • Age- and gender-normed comparison data

  • Objective measurement of core ADHD domains

  • Useful for baseline and medication monitoring

  • Supports diagnostic accuracy when combined with clinical evaluation

Limitations

  • Does not independently diagnose ADHD

  • Must be interpreted within a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation

  • Performance may be influenced by sleep, anxiety, or external factors

QbCheck is one component of a structured and evidence-based ADHD assessment process.
